
Jennifer Grey was born March 26 60. Her acting debut came in the film Reckless (1984) and made her breakthrough in the teen comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). Her character, Frances Houseman, a romance drama about romance between two lovers, brought her international recognition. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's work on television started with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989) as well as If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also appeared in the role of Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has voiced on both films and television as well, including her voice in the film of the year Duck Duck Goose and the animated television show Phineas and Ferb, which she created in 2008.
