Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over 20 years. Her most famed role is for her performance as a character in House which airs on Fox. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study theater at Tisch. She quickly became part of the club scene in New York. The performances she gave were so good that even the local press took note. The singer used her experience in the music industry and public recognition to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. Once Awake on the Wild Side was no longer running, she started acting in movies and on television, initially in short roles. Gradually, her career in acting grew.
