Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and TV personality popular as the host of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. She was born and raised within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that at one point she was stabbed by her mother's father after he got too intimate with her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. Her passion for the military was comedy. The show was named the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. Her TV career as regularly performing at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was a TV host for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating on The Talk as co-host. Also, she's played the fictional character in TV programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
