Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and was raised at Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She grew up looking after her sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. She faced a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father for getting too close. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the television talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being in The Talk as co-host. She's appeared in fictitious series including Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
